Always seem to be driving when I spot a worthy subject, this all changed today when this beauty pulled up opposite work so I grabbed my phone................. :)

Yeah, sadly the poor quality pic doesn't show up the faded paint, cripsy edges to the arches and doors, as it drove away I noticed the nsf chrome arch trim was hanging off...quality!

I had a Manta A nearly 20 years ago, it looked lovely but its condition was much as you describe this one.

I'd still have one in a flash though.

Tidy looking Transit parked at local retail park this afternoon.

Owner turned out to be a customer from work (I thought he only had a Land Rover fetish) not only has he been regularly using it for work but now has his eye on a 400E Thames, the Transit was supposed to have been used in an episode of Heartbeat.

I go out for a lunchtime walk most weekdays around the industrial estate where I work and the nearby streets so thought it was about time I took some pics, quality isn't brill but neither is my phone!

Spent the weekend around the Thurrock area but didn't get much chance to take pictures unless you wanted to see dozens of chav'd up Saxos, Civics and "Ratted" Fiestas around Lakeside Saturday night.

This beauty was found when the SatNav went into meltdown and sent us into an industrial estate, apologies if it's been shown before, what amused me was the way it has been comprehensively bolted down to prevent event the most enthusiastic Hi-ab operator getting his own way.

One of the Southern gentlemen who I met up with this weekend dared to suggest a few weeks back that somebody from up t'North might use a pigeon tied to their car with string rather than a good old "TomTom" to travel so far South so here is "TimTim"

Fearing the local boys in blue might take exception to a large plastic bird sticking out of my front grill on a substantial metal bracket I chickened out and fitted it about 15 miles from our destination.

Some more from the Travelodge car park

The Classic is a hard dash model

Did you mean "soft dash", that's how we refer to the late "classics" with air bags.

Theres an absolute beauty on an "H" that we get in once a year, it does 5-600 miles between MOT's and really looks the part, a few months back we had another "M" plate in but it was a 4.2 LSE that almost set me off looking for one, trouble is when you drive P38's and L322's you realise how unrefined the early ones are by modern standards plus the fuel economy (never had a diesel in my life, never will) would make my Stagea seem positively tea total.....

Is the Alfasud thingy an Avanti or something?

I seem to remember something like that in a Kitcar mag at some point. I can't look it up, I gave them to either Pog or Garycox.
