Rusty Pelican Posted September 24, 2010 Posted September 24, 2010 The Apache is available in Manual, automatic and what?Twin carbs
barrett Posted September 25, 2010 Posted September 25, 2010 How did this suddenly turn into the best shite thread all week?
Guest Leonard Hatred Posted September 25, 2010 Posted September 25, 2010 I don't think you've quite got the grasp of posting random photos of colonial BMC spin-offs completely out of context there barrett!!
Formula Autos Posted September 25, 2010 Posted September 25, 2010 Leonard, Some abstract concepts for you to look into: 1)Tact 2)Consideration for others 3) Bugger off. A lot milder than I expected. I'm actually half pleased with that response. Anyway, back to the real business of Autoshite. Leyland P76 Force 7 coupe, anyone?
fotorabia Posted September 25, 2010 Posted September 25, 2010 I don't think you've quite got the grasp of posting random photos of colonial BMC spin-offs completely out of context there barrett!! bah..i was gonna put that up..me Dad had one of them..the engine fell out..thats when Aussie Leyland collapsed..
Torsten2001 Posted September 25, 2010 Posted September 25, 2010 Aussie Leyland was holding up your Dads engine? I thought it had a subframe? Enjoy the Wolseley 1000:
fotorabia Posted September 25, 2010 Posted September 25, 2010 i raise you one..and only one..Hartnet [?] Pacific..another failed Aussie..
Torsten2001 Posted September 25, 2010 Posted September 25, 2010 Gorgeous Marina! Looks strangely Japanese with that grille though!Pegaso (Morris) J4 anyone?
Torsten2001 Posted September 25, 2010 Posted September 25, 2010 Not quite as sexy as an Austin Marina!
Rusty Pelican Posted September 25, 2010 Posted September 25, 2010 Not quite as sexy as an Austin Marina! Now thats sexy , love the coupe , somehow those huge bumpers work on this , usually they just look shit .
boobydoo Posted September 25, 2010 Posted September 25, 2010 Pegaso (Morris) J4 anyone? Do you know, I think that might be my most favouritest picture ever posted on here.....ever, ever!! I'm going to see if I can track down a brochure on 'em from somewhere.
Torsten2001 Posted September 25, 2010 Posted September 25, 2010 well if you like that you'll love the Innocenti IM3 (Austin 1100)
George-Roper Posted September 25, 2010 Posted September 25, 2010 Austin Lancer Allthough in the same type of line How about the Austin America? That guy needs a vw though
Torsten2001 Posted September 26, 2010 Posted September 26, 2010 Nice selection, what about the Morris Major?
dollywobbler Posted September 26, 2010 Author Posted September 26, 2010 Very similar to the Austin Apache, I prefer the Spanish-built Victoria. Very Triumph-esque at the back!
chaseracer Posted September 26, 2010 Posted September 26, 2010 I think those ARE 2000/2500 mk2 lights.
dollywobbler Posted September 26, 2010 Author Posted September 26, 2010 I think they're very, very similar, but not quite the same. Note that the indicator end curves outwards slightly - I don't think the Triumph ones do this. I must admit, I think the Victoria is the ADO16 is the one I'd most like to own, narrowly beating an Austin/Morris GT in orange.
mouseflakes Posted September 26, 2010 Posted September 26, 2010 I must admit, I think the Victoria is the ADO16 is the one I'd most like to own, narrowly beating an Austin/Morris GT in orange. Interesting though it is, for me the Victoria is lacking the best feature of the ADO16 - that neat little rump. GT for me please.
