Deep joy. Not.

I've been offered a Mk3 Golf 1.4 as a straightener for it and I'm completely underwhelmed.

Anyone interested in this millstone?

I'd love it but I need some space and money to own it, neither of which I have much of at the moment :(

£300 anyone, surely to God it's worth that?

No worries Mark, no problem to me.

right, final throw of the dice before the dreaded eBaY or banger racing forum route:

£250 anyone?

I have something I really want locally so need the spondulicks to buy it and the change to give to my lad.

Posted

fookin ell Billy, I feel sick seeing this up for £250. They are great cars, I'm stunned no-one has bought it.

Posted

It's even painful-er this end I can assure you :D

Had the chance to buy back one of my old (and much loved) heaps of shit hence being pretty desperate to sell this. I'm absolutely loathe to eBaY it because it'll either end up in the hands of a smackhead (because it's taxed and tested) or some rag arse who will just abuse it then weigh it in, or some gobshite who will bid then disappear. Also I have something of an aversion to dealing with the general public.

Had a look on AutoTrader website today and there's four on there (at least two of which are auto's) for £399 upwards and this looks better than most of them.

I WILL SELECT THIS CAR FOR TAXI DUTIES CIRCA 1995

Well it ended on eBay. And the buyer was a Nigerian who wanted it for export.

And he's just left my house with it on the back of his mate's recovery truck! Couldn't meet a nicer bloke, absolutely belting fella. He didn't even look round it, he just said 'nice car that', chucked me the money/sorted the documents and by the time he done that his mates had it on the truck, strapped on and were reversing out!

you wouldn't have thought it would be worth the hassle would you!

How much are they worth in Nigeria then?? Did you keep the tax?

Posted

No, I let him take it. It's only fair as it was advertised with it and he might cash it back himself. I don't know what they're worth but there must be good money in it as he'd paid a mate of his with a recovery truck to collect it and then there's the cost of shipping and all that bollocks.

Just to think that in a few weeks time someone will be driving to an internet cafe in this to offer me eleven million quid for my second hand mobile 'phone.

Have you got his number?? I might give him a shout if I want to sell mine!

Business acumen, show me your monies!

Have you emptied the old pods yet then?

I had to think for a minute then Tim

I conscious some experts recommend oil-based paints, but merited to the faith that I bear already purchased these Disney colored paints I would like to detest them if at all possible. I painted another be a match for agreeably with Aspen coffer of drawers for my other child and I did not feel to fool this problem, at least it was not as obvious.

I can sympathise with you, chummy; I'm having a similar problem with a Silica Bronze Nissan :(
