Collection day

Our youngest turns 17 next month so I’m off to collect the car we bought for his birthday.

Didn’t get a photo of the first mode of transport, but it was prime AS fodder - a dirty and knackered pale blue Prius which stank.

Now at the station for the second leg of the journey.

You'd better get that number plate sorted before you go too far! 😀 Sade Safe travels.

Not a collection for the risk averse... Puretech or BlueHDI ?

And home.

Teenager home earlier than expected, so I’ve had to dump the car elsewhere in the village 🤦🏻‍♂️

Calculated risk with eldest having one a few years ago which was properly serviced and gave no trouble.

2018 1.2 Puretech with 40k miles. Full history supported with paperwork, long-term ownership and wet belt replaced a couple of years ago. To mitigate the risk I have booked it in with a local specialist for a new wet belt to keep my conscience clear if it detonates on him in future 🤣
