Only took 10mins to find traffic and a driver who refuses to go over 40mph unless there is an overtaking opportunity. Just 90 miles to go ...

No problem there…I filled mine up last week for £38 or so and was immediately rewarded with an overall range of around 300 miles.

These really were many years ahead of their time.

MrsRobt100 managed 38mpg on the way back, though that is with the SHVCS error and I think a stickyish rear caliper/brake. So not bad at 70mph all the way. Now just to find out if I can buy individual studs, or if I need a whole new hub for the stud that snapped removing the wheel 🤐

Has the 12V battery in the boot been replaced? That can make the charging system sulk...

Got a feeling it was low coolant @Bear, though the centre display was acting up on th way back. If you touched the touchscreen it would just got to setting time/date. so could asdjust things liek cahrge times etc. Could naviagate with the wheel to most stuff though. So might take the 12v battery off and give it a good charge and see if it helps.

If it’s a front wheel stud, the complete bearing assembly including ABS ring and hub was only £40odd and three bolts to swap over?

You have to PM me a link, searched a few of the usual places and all said NLA.

See, this is why I didn't do it!

Plus for £40 you avoid an annoying ABS error showing up for a bit longer.

it needs a CV boot on that side anyway, so might as well get the hub done too whilst im there.

Is that my old one?

apparently so, doesn’t seem that long ago I put 4 new tyres on it, hopefully it’ll serve you well.

Nice - seem to be the shite hybrid of choice, rather than a scabby Neil Armstrong Prius?

I think this is the better battery-engine combo tbh. Being able to run pure electric for 30-40miles and plug it in to charge up is a big saving over a hybrid system. Than if you do need the engine, over 350 miles with a tank of fuel (30L ish tank) plus a battery worth of range makes it pretty much "normal car" when needed.
