Aren't Walkers of Watford the Truckman Top people?

Those properly-made quasi-official pick-up conversions were ace. A BL dealer in Milton Keynes used to do Metros and Maestros. Bletchley Motor Group. The conversions were confusingly all called BMG Camions.

I have pix somewhere.

I have seen a fair few images from this event and it always seems to have a good selection of cars. I love boobydoos Chrysler and i could see me and the mrs enjoying many a holiday in that clean interior of the white Transit.

Im sure someone on here spotted & posted this Fiesta being driven by a smart guy in a suit a while back

This is my favorite, I love the colour combination. Its such a shame you don't see many MKI or MKII Escorts in standard condtion anymore.

Great Harpenden pics, EL - it really was a class selection of vehicles on display, and 100% agree that the Bedford pick-up was star of the show!

Hope to be there in my Sceptre next year...

There is a certain 'buzz' to this show that I don't think you get at others. It's VERY busy, a great mix of cars, a great mix of people.Families, suited city gents, Essex geezers!

I used to think it would be better moved to a Sunday, as it does cause traffic problems in the town being mid week, but it does have a certain spontaneity and 'chaos' that is part of its attraction.
