Stolen Bluebird Kent

"Cars you don't see any more"... even when you own one and you're looking out of the window...

It just goes to show that people with Autoshite-esque tastes aren't invulnerable to car thieves. It must be devastating for the poor chap, that Bluebird looks lovely and he's obviously spent a lot of time on it.

This sort of thing really upsets me, let's hope we get the right result.

That's such a shame, especially as most people don't drive around with the bonnet open, exposing the very clean noticable engine bay.

Seriously though, it's such a shitter when this happens.  Moderns can be replaced easily with another appliance, but stuff like this will just get a lowball cheque and told to GTF.

I can hear the disc cutter running now. No guesses where that will be going…

Check round the usual ‘caravan sites’

Large rwd old estate car stolen in Kent?

We all know exactly why this has been nicked, we know the exact type of bastard that has taken it and we all know where it's going to end up and what's going to happen to it.

Fingers crossed it can be found and returned. I sadly don’t hold out much hope though.☹️

Fortunately you can rely on the Police Force that will armed with their Criminology Degree be straight round when it’s found hours before it gets raced. They’ll not be concerned about upsetting anyone or being threatened, they’ll be on top of the matter and justice will prevail. I’m sure of that.

I’m not sure if it’s still going, but the next big ‘event’ that I could well imagine this sort of car to ‘attend’ would be the Heavy Metal Classic at Standlake arena. Pretty sure it runs around new year sort of time.
Maybe worth asking the promoter at the track or keeping your eyes peeled if in the area.

If it’s like when previous events have had stolen vehicles, they don’t give a shit I’m afraid. The bulk of banger racing entrants aren’t using stolen cars but there’s a small minority that do.

Sadly true.
Remember those two stolen yanks that got raced at Ringwood raceway a few years back. Everyone knew they were stolen yet nothing happened.

It's either the oval,or it's in a container and will live out it's days as a taxi somewhere in Africa!

I’d be surprised if there was any demand now in Africa for that, they get much newer cars imported there which are seen as much more desirable. I’d wager in downtown Kinshasa an imported 2007 M Class in limp home with the dash lit up like Blackpool would be seen as hot property over an old Datsun.
