Delivery Fred

Recommended Posts

St170 is off to its new owner on Tuesday.  This will involve a delivery Fred from me.

Filled the back with all the spares and printed off the invoices for everything I have spent on it over the last 14 months (we don't look at those numbers too closely as they add up quickly!.)

T Minus 40 Hours.

them lower rubber bumper trims... are hard too find.

It came a bit loose  so thought it was safer to take it off before I had a chance to refix it.  And as you can see, I ran out of time!

A philosophical question for Shiters -When does a collection/delivery Fred start?

Is it when you leave wit the intent of car movage?

The morning of the relocation day?

Is it PC start?

Something else

Yeah, what he said.

The thread starts when you open it on the forum.

I'd say the collection or delivery itself starts when you leave the house / flat / boat / whatever to begin the journey.

In that case ...

Some baked goods were purchased for the buyer south of the border...

I hadn't realised you were all such pie perverts.

I hadn't purchased any for the buyer, but now I feel I must! I hadn't realised that they weren't normal.

Dare I ask if this was time before setting off, or if you are delivering the car to someone in Gibraltar?😅

The only disappointing thing about this thread is that you aren't delivering it to my house.

If it makes you feel any better you will at least get a go in it at a future Twixfest...

That's a high quality biscuit and make no mistake. Thanks so much @The Moog, you are an utter gent!

Empire biscuits.  A strange Scottish treat.  Strange as it isn't a pie or deep fried.

I thought I would work my way up to the pies - my missus is out for dinner tomorrow evening so I'm planning to eat all of them with beans and some bread for mopping and pie sandwiches.

I've eaten a steak pie. It was delicious. Good flavour to the gravy and perfect texture to the pastry. Would pie again.

I've not driven it much yet but I can already tell it's a good 'un, a credit to its many former keepers on here. What a ridiculously well sorted chassis that is. The engine has enough power to have a laugh and the gearbox has a satisfyingly chunky feel to it. Even the pedal action is sweet.

Ford really did get it right with the Focus and this is the most fun version you're gonna get unless you have 25 grand to drop on an RS. Which I don't. And they're only 3 door anyway, so no good for me. So basically, this is the best version of the best small family car ever made.
