Insurance renewed. Not used it as much as I would have liked this year but zero costs and zero problems so no complaints. Not going to get it wet this winter!

Where did this year’s good driving weather go? It’s in the garage now but I’m itching to have a thrap about in it again before the roads get salted.

They've already been out gritting here, and will be until March/April time :-( Earliest so far is 25th October, despite rarely seeing temperatures low enough to freeze moisture on the roads.

Today was the first time in weeks it hasnt thrown it down round here (and the first time in an age i havent had house/car/work stuff). So i got mine out amd went for a good thrash round. First Burnley council decided to grit when its not even cold, then it pissed it down (thanks bbc weather, lying b'stards). Had to clean it to within an inch of its life on getting home. Still well worth it!

(Tldr dont do it kid. Let it hibernate till spring).

Was out and about in the Cotswolds, I’m really enjoying the area, especially away from the more crowded towns on the Fosse Way. Saw these two 500s and realised that mine sits halfway between the two in terms of useage. And was also yearning for a drive of my own car which is still tucked up for winter.

Mate owed me some money. He paid in Chinese Lego. Anyway, here’s the two together. Many comparisons! I reckon there are fewer parts in the real one than the model. Shutlines and trim quality are similar. Both have done zero miles this year. Both have doors that need a little shove to close. Model is a bit of an insipid colour and has the boot trunk luggage thing which mine does not.
