I've watched and liked most of the 'real' Swedish episodes; made me LOL when I saw the BBC effort - while they spoke very English English they were reading Swedish papers etc... seemed odd. Not a bad effort though, and beautifully shot.

I like em both, but the Branagh one is a bit 'Van der Valk'

I've only seen the swedish one.... tried to buy it on DVD but its very expensive.

Like MrB, I've only seen the Swedish one, I imagine the English one will be a bit lame in comparison. All 'organised' crime in Sweden seems to be related to motorcycle gangs, which I'd heard about Canada as well.

The Swedish version of Wallander is superb, I can't get enough of it. The Branagh version is utter shite by comparison.

That's immense! (shame about the Audi though) so is it for real or a TV show stunt? If real, I suppose it wasn't meant to end up like that? Funny, on first looks by picture 3 I thought it was faked until I noticed the Volvo front suspension at 'droop' and the next pics.Swedish Rozzes don't hang around.

I didn't realise that the Swedish and Glasgae for 'police' is the same!

The English Wallander is weird isn't it? Set in a parallel universe Sweden where everybody speaks in slightly ghostly, not quite right English accents.
