Isuzu Mu- whats the score

Just been told by 'She who must be obeyed that she saw one today - & liked it.Interpret that as ''get me one -or tell me why not''.So, kind peeps, what are its issues -can it tow (ooops) or is it just a Frontera in a party frock?-

Think it even pre-dates the Frontera - isn't the Vauxhall just a slightly de-chomed Mu? Which itself is pretty much a Trooper.

Get her a Jianglang Landwind and tell her not to crash.

K. taI'm not averse, just not our normal fare. Thanks

I thought the Mu was the super space age import only thing that looks like its half made out of plastic? It certainly doesnt look like a KB in a fancy frock.

There's one on autotrader at the minute. Looks like a Frontera to me. :)

Yes I did & I was thinking the same, that it might be that thing but I couldn't remember the name of it either! :lol:Got a model of one somewhere you'll be very surprised to learn...

Was hoping to see some news on your Isuzu 117 coupe, having seen the thread title Mr Bickle - still got it?

I love Vehi-Crosses. There is a salmon pink one that appears near work occasionally, straight after a metallic lime Danbury VW Camper. I'm not sure if they know each other or what.

I have to say I've never ever seen one in the flesh, I didn't even realise they were real, I presumed my model to be purely a concept since it was so wild looking, but it seems to be very realistic!

On the subject of Isuzu ponderings, I've been thinking of buying one of these related machines. I could do with a pickup, and these look like a top contender especially in 3.1TD guise. They seem rather cheap though, are they shit?

I'd like something like the one in the picture with unpainted trim, inset headlights and steel wheels. The blinged up ones look awful.

I should have a chat to the garage owner, that contains a Vehi-Cross.As Tayne pointed out (which i didn't know) , they are kind of rare.So if he wants to shift it for not alot .... then i shall inform you wonder lot

We had one as a Boat Hauler in the south of france. Managed to cope with all the abuse the Sailing instructors and Montage team could throw at it. Was rather crusty though, don't think rust protection is a strong point on them.

I've driven a 2.8 Diesel crew cab one, seemed very well built from a mechanical point of view.

Interior was a bit cheap and nasty but most work hard for a living so nice interiors dont really mater.

I think that the 2wd version with full-on AA bodywork would be the perfect weapon for the semi-pro tat recoverer, lella paint, flashing beacons, A-frame and lots of storage for tools and bits that drop off your tat en-route home. Hard to find though. Most seem to be in the hands of those men who hose out your wheelie bin for a fiver..
