How I've managed to miss this is beyond me. Already one of my favourite threads going but your going to have to do far more updates 😄

I concur. What an absolute peach. I can feel the dive and squat from here.

Love this! I really need to tick the 'own a big yank boat' box as I've hankered after something like this for years.

Get it done!

I could update with all the petrol station trips, those are quite regular....

That'd probably make entertaining reading.

Monday morning Uncle Ben sets out for fuel. Arrives home midday.

Well, the regular updates went well! Here we are 1 year later! What can I say, the big old boat is so reliable nothing has needed mending! Not that I'm complaining obviously... Just under 2000 more miles since the last update, other than the occasional wash that's about all the maintenance it's needed!

This is after 4 months of winter driving, it doesn't look it but it was absolutely filthy, who knew brown cars hide the dirt so well!

Unfortunately being exposed to the elements all year round is taking it's toll, need to address this soon, or find a replacement trunk lid (boot lid for you non American car owning peasants)

Finally got an exhaust made as the old one was crumbling away before my eyes, think it ended up dumping just over the axle and was getting louder by the week, now has a deeper more mellow sound and kept the tailpipe tucked up and hidden, wether it will last 52 yrs like the original we'll see

Been running without the wheel caps again as all black tyres will be the next job on't list

No white walls make the wheels look Diddy but I like the look, this is with the 225/70/15 spare instead of the current 235/75/15s

Battered the plates a bit and gave them a bit of 'patina mate' with a mix of sandpaper, black aerosol and oily rag!

Attended many local meets throughout the summer, and ventured to rustival 3 too, which was a great show

And that's about it for another year! Still no plans to sell it, still love driving it even though 12 em pee gees (15 on a run...)

Parked next to my not so big other car

And a nice arty shot to finish off this 2nd anniversary update, will get this printed and framed at some point

I will update this more often, if only with the odd photo (unless exciting events occur or ftp's happen obvs) as everyone loves pictures!

Good to see the old rig still doing its thing. Cant say I’m surprised it’s been behaving reliably… Built Ford Tough😄

I really need to do more with mine!

Ah! Cool. Again, Bromsgrove ain't far from me, in fact it's nearer to me than Dudley. In fact, I often pass via the very top of the district to get into Birmingham instead of going the normal route.
