A good day out, i also managed to get some service stuff for my toledo and some information on the Toledo TS.

Red 2500 estate is a beaut. Brings back memories. Definately on my wishlist.

Was that Triumph 1300 really for sale or was it a mock-up of a period forecourt? The Triumph 1300/1500/Toledo/Dolomite must be the only car in history to change from FWD to RWD midway through its production run.

Stunning brace of MK1 2000 saloons 8)8)8) That Standard canopied pickup is a little cracker, and a Blandcrab for good measure :D

I think the 1300 was just a mock up, if it wasnt £325 was an absolute bargain.I really want a 2000 at some stage soon, insurance is still really high for me (21!) The sound of a triumph 6 with straight though pipes is fantastic plus they look great what more could you want

Nice to see some photos of something we nearly always go to but didn't this year. :D We were too busy doing car based shenanigans in Paris

Were Herald estates badged as Couriers? I thought that name was just for the van model.

It was a cracking day, that my mates MK1 in white on th B reg, didn,t a take my MK1 2000 as it has a phobia of being used,2000s are really starting to go up in valve, minters hit 3K plus, and you don,t get much for under a grand,a mk1 2000 is a lovely car,but i would say that!

Toledo Ts bet you don,t have the real thing!!,i,am SURE they built a few as its listed in the parts book and badges where made...

Some lovely cars there.Wonder if a Wolseley Land Crab would make a good tow-car?

i've just got a normal 4door. I've been scouring autojubles for information on the TS (also the janspeed toledo), at stoneliegh i got hold of the parts book and some other random bit of paper. I am yet to see a photo of one though at least 1 must have been built.

I went to this event last year - I'm not a massive Triumph fan (I went with a mate who is) but it was a very good day out. Some of the best stuff is in the car park! The Austin 1300 is a Teal Blue Mark 111 and has Allegro 1500 wheeltrims.

It's a bizarre tale alright. Don't forget the similar faff required to turn a Rover 75 RWD. At least the Triumph had a longitudinal engine to start with!

Love those square light Dolomites. I'm sure there is a law that would've made the sale of that blue Triumph legal???
