Usually in very good condition as well. Maybe it’s a hipster thing, especially since we’re staying in Prenzlauer-Berg How does it work with green sticker, ’umweltplakette’? We managed to park between two of @Nibbler’s favourites. Anyway, a few spottings from this morning’s walk with the dog. Lovely! That Escort brings back memories. Rightnider 1
Rightnider Posted October 5 Posted October 5 Yes, I’d have one again in a heartbeat, if it were a diesel. And the one we had was supposedly from Berlin originally.

I remember being underneath the car and I realised that the radiator was missing one of its mounts by at least 5 centimetres…
Rightnider Posted October 5 Posted October 5 Oh! I didn’t know that, or maybe I’ve forgotten? Lovely* car anyway. I remember the joy of driving 1,000 kms on a 50 litre tank, at a time when diesel was significantly cheaper than petrol. On top of that, the owner of the cab I was driving gave me permission to fill up on the company card from time to time. Needless to say, having mostly driven 2,8 auto Granadas, I was thrilled. It was almost like getting the driving license again, with all the freedom of actually being able to afford driving.
Schaefft Posted October 5 Posted October 5 As soon as your car qualifies for a historical registration (30 years old and in original good condition) the Umweltplakette doesn't really matter anymore.

Every week back and forth.
