What better car to go to Scotland in than a 4 wheel drive Volvo estate? A special edition Ocean Race one at that!

Purchased at a very low price from a dodgy seeming but probably sound enough man on a council estate in Sunderland.

Bad:-

- a few scratches and dings, the worst to the silver trim rear bumper 

- key is a bit shonky, could do with fixing it up and getting another one done to be safe

- tailgate open warning on the dash

- needs a good valet as it's been hard to transport a German shepherd

- radio issue - I think it needs a fuse

-electric mirror on the passenger side doesn't do anything, will investigate

- parking sensors don't seem to sense anything

- a few broken bits of trim inside but nothing major

- it's a diesel, and not even a D5

- headlights have the cataracts of an 80 year old

Good:-

- air con conditions the air beautifully

- engine is good and strong

- it's a Volvo

- it's blue

- it was cheap
