It’s Wednesday evening. It’s dark, it’s raining. This led to purchase. French Fancy vol 2

That looks very PSA, very possibly Citroen C2/C3 as they use the same dash.

Indeed. Another C2. In a whopping 1.1TU 60-something horsepower flavour. All of 10 miles away so a full-on* caper for this one.

No snow in Chichester. Sadly. There was 8 miles north in Midhurst. As soon as the snow reaches anywhere near Goodwood, Lord March tells it to bugger off. Handful of flakes if that

Comes with aftermarket rude-boy air filter, a mild fart-cannon exhaust, 2 keys and a book stamped up to 95k. It’s on 101k now and has ticket until August, with a very clean test record.

List of jobs on this car is quite small, thankfully. New wipers fotted this afternoon.

- cam belt. Unknown when last done
- clutch adjustment. May actually need a new one as the bite is quite high.
- rude-boy air filter replaced by stock item. It’s a 60hp TU1A. It sounds stupid.
- couple of new tyres needed. Spare is the original Michelin and one of the rears is cracking in places.
- New wheeltrims. It has poundland specials. In black.

It’s going to be a runaround for the wife for after we’ve moved house as she’ll be commuting once we are at our new house.

Don't play cambelt roulette on a TU, it always ends in many bent valves.

I remember one that had somehow bent every single valve 😂

The TU is an engine I’m quite familiar with.  Sadly can’t remember if I need to change the water pump at the same time or not
