it was all green untill i took the alloy off the sides, mabe i should put the new alloy on to make it look more atractive to someone other than me

What is it based on, and what kit is it? It looks typical kit-car horrible. "let's make it sporty, yet have bits that came on a horse and carriage".

Cleaned all the muck and shite off the new car and gave it the Meguiars 1-2-3 treatment. Then, like Mr Sceptre, went for an afternoon pint or 19 with the missus. Feckin great! Dontcha just love women who drink pints, know a rocker shaft from a wheelbearing and don't mind if you have Molyslip under your nails and you stink of used SFCD Duckhams?

Serviced my mates MTB, I changed the oil on the GT6, topped up the diff as i have still not replaced the oil seal on it and then went for a rag around some country roads and then stopped off for a pint in a country pub with some mates. Unfortunately the overdrive stopped working half way round. There was a slight smell of burning which i disregarded at the time, but when the overdrive would not work i guess it was soleniod burning out? Bumhats. Will have a sniff around tonight.Got to drive down to Nottingham on Friday. Will be quite noisy without overdrive. :(

Got chauffeur driven around town as dawn broke by my best mate in his Mustang (other cars were also involved...)

Then I got chauffeur driven to the NSRA swap meet at Lakeside by another friend in his '70 Dodge Dart Swinger.

Ā

I really needed to have found a chauffeur in a Chevy of some sort to complete the big three set.

That sounds like a pretty damn good way to start the day Seth, nice one!

Ā

I used the sunshine today to sell my car... :(

Shame I needed to sell it to pay bills!

Some of you have interesting lives!I bought a wheelbarrow today but couldn't get the tyre to inflate

I took yesterday off work to go to the Yorkshire meet. Well worth it, I had a top time with some like minded folks, in the sunshine and everything. Then, Janie got the evening off at short notice so we went to the Picturedrome in Holmfirth and saw Hayseed Dixie -- awesome band 8)

Cleaned my car and had a nice walk through the local woods and saw lots of squirrels, birds, rabbits etc :)

A belated 'hi Seth" then as was me and my missus who complimented your mate on his motor when you were just about to leave

D'oh! I was barely coherent by then, having not been to bed that night, hence why I just kinda collapsed into the car so wouldn't have been very good at conversation. Belated hello back. :D

Haha tell me about it !My dad is astonished at the speed i am going. AND i'm not rushing !He laughed at me as i took 15 minutes just to shape a piece of metal, that was no bigger than a couple of cms- If it's worth doing ... It's worth doing right

Yesterday I went for a blast (sorry I mean 'test drive') in a 2001 Mazda MX5, a silver 1.8 with six speed box, on the Aberystwyth to Devils Bridge road.Great fun - I can see why people love them. Not in a position at the moment to buy one (imminent change of job), but plan to as soon as I can!

Rubbish! If it's worth doing it's worth doing TWICE, once badly and once again to sort out what you ****ed up in the first place.
