Did you visit the tat shop where they offer you warm shortbread?

I read the lock thing as something to do with Lock Lomond, that I didnt really understand.

Any long shite journey that doesnt end in a bust crankshaft is a victory innit with the associated sense of satisfaction.

After work on thursday I jumped in my shit old pick up truck and set off to mutha bo11ox house in France!

Took the euro tunnel, which is a real joy of a thing compared to the slow-ass ferries full of rioting kids and fat truckers.

Does a Range Rover with a trailer to Zakynthos count as a shite trip? The Rangie wasn't that shite, but it was only £1500..

If so..

Liverpool. Ignore the constant tarpaulin fettling done by this chap, it's all his crap that's being transported.

After a 22 hour ferry from Ancona to Patras, then an hour or two across Greece to get the next ferry to Zakynthos.

At the end of the road. 1400 miles, 1000 done in 16 hours, towing a trailer loaded with heavy generators and stuff. The trailer weighed a ton unladen, and it was very laden indeed. 135 gallons of fuel, 10 mpg, about 100 cups of coffee later. Rangie didn't miss a beat other than the fuel tank beginning to leak heavily if brimmed right to the top. 20 gallons of petrol weighs quite a bit and the tank was beginning to split along a rusty seam. The ignition module on the dizzy started playing up in the heat once the car had been on Zante for a month or two, cost £40 to replace and ran perfectly from then on.
