Is Autoshite a Club?

Hello all... I feel like I have just been mugged reading all this...

 

I am the Admin for the vauxhallviva.com forum, and I can say hand on heart no-one has been blocked! HUMMMM???

 

I don't like the idea that implies directly or indirectly that I might of done any such thing.

 

OHH and I do the site for free, and spend maybe 10-15 hours a week of my time, on my PC, for fuck all, NO ONE gets paid a cent! Only cost to the club is the hosting fees. (I have never asked for payment never expected a payment and I do it because i believe its the future for the owners club, as said above)

 

Dont panic though (OHH to late you did )

 

I have defended the non members to the hilt (take my word on this) and changes may occur very soon to put things back in the public area, once I have finished beating the knob heads of a committee who insisted upon the changes in the first place, knowing that it would be me who gets the blame and flack. (as has happened here)

 

I guess the words of advice on the viva owners club forum about "if you have an issue contact the chairman" fell on deaf ears?

 

Anyways this is autoshite not an other forum of lower quality

Just so you get a flavour of the requests being made by me to the commie brigade:

 

How do people get a viva if the adverts are only viewable to the people that have a viva?

 

How can someone sell a car if they are not a member, why do they need to join the club at a cost of 21quid, then get all the process of becoming a private forum member when all they want to do is sell the damn thing.

 

All that's going to happen if they will go else where and the new blood will dwindles further.

 

I am actively having to move adverts to the members only area from the general section (as expected guests will just do as they please no matter what is advised).

 

As a Committee you decided that ALL adverts NEEDED to go into the members area in private. If that's still your mantra then so be it, but I think its going to fail unless I spend every day for the rest of eternity micro managing the forum to make sure people don't break the RULES. Frankly my time is better spent.

 

May I then suggest you allow me to move the "for sale" areas back into the public forum, and for the committee to come up with "real value" items for the private members area.

 

I knew from day one this would happen

 

I love this place, Free easy, communal spirit and most of all lovely shite to smile at all the time, so lets just let it lie for a while see what happens over the next week or so, and then we can all put our teddies away and get on with the love of beige.

I used to help run the BX Club, and the grief (we) I used to get off people did cause me to throw my toys out of the pram and delete my account.I feel much happier these days just talking bollocks on here. The other area of some small concern is if it becomes a "Club" then there is the whole issue of public liability and suchlike - something happened within a Lnad Rover forum that caused the forum leaders much financial pain.
