WOW.They look like the result of some pikey onboard the USS Enterprise using the transporter to do a bit of twocking, located the co-ordinates of an FSO Polenez, a Passat, Scimitar, Citroen, Carlton and a Renault, then just as he's beaming them up in walks Scotty shouting 'Get away with ye from that machine ye dirty wee pikey shite', immediately reverses the process mid transportation resulting in some major mixup scrambling of the molecular makeup that comprises the vehicles in question. a space pikey hiab gone wrong.

The design (1977) seems to pre-date the BX by a few years. Interesting history this - still trying to work it out. A prototype was shown in UK as a Scimitar SE7. Anyone speak Turkish here?

There is a second example existing of the BX clone, it was on UK ebay a couple of years ago.

 

Having seen that anadol wagon for sale in the other thread, I'll be writing to me european MP to express my strong wishes that Turkey should be allowed to join the EU AT ONCE.

How about we buy a Sherpa minibus, crew it up and slog of to Turkey, but a shed load of dodgy old Anadols and have an epic convoy back home....think of the joy on HRC faces when we say we bougth them for under £100 each could we get it sponsored by somebody I wonder....

The pre BX thing was designed by the bloke who penned the BX, he touted the design to Scimitar and to Ovolv before it was picked up by Citroen.There is a beige example of that car somewhere - there are some links on BXC, but I cant be arsed digging them out at the mo.

ooh I love Anadols I do. Being a Reliant perv they've always seemed like the ultimate Reliant-related shite wagon. But how have we gone this far without mentioning the original Anadol A1? These are the ones I would want, not a bad looking thing really.

 

and of course who could forget the sporty STC16? I reckon this is a genuinely nice looking car, in a 'cheap foreign glassfibre lash-up' sort of way.
