Here's a genuine fact - the C90 had a foot operated clutch* specifically to allow noodle deliveries to be made on them rather than bicycles as it freed up a hand to carry the greasy goodies, clever bloke Honda-san.

*basically the clutch operated as the gear lever was depressed by the foot.

Before the C90.

'Norman Stanley Fletcher, you have pleaded guilty to the charges brought by this court, and it is now my duty to pass sentence. You are an habitual criminal, who accepts arrest as an occupational hazard, and presumably accepts imprisonment in the same casual manner. We therefore feel constrained to commit you to the maximum term allowed for these offences: you will go to prison for five years.'

The charges? Nicking a Citroen H Type.

Rotterdam, 1969. I think the near one is a Taunus, not sure of the ones in the background, is the khaki one on the right an Opel of some kind?

Yes the one at the front is a 1957 Taunus P2 17M. You can make out the 17M badge on the boot lid.

The beige car to the right is a 1956 Opel Olympia Rekord.

The dark car to the left looks like an E-Series Vauxhall.

And the white thing to the far left looks like a Ford Taunus Transit.

Oooohhh. PBW 726. Oxfordshire circa November 1959. Doesn't show up on DVLA. Nice to see another PBW... not every day I see a pic of a vehicle in the same registration sequence as one of mine.
