We had a bit of snow for 1/2 hour yesterday evening that settled a little bit.I made the error of washing both my cars in the front driveway this afternoon and then nearly slipping arse over tit a couple of hours later after popping out for a bit to look at a car.

You'd probably stay a bit warmer if you didn't go outside and take photos of your cars every time a flake of snow falls on them.

I can imagine how odd this amount of snow must look for you, but it´s half a meter every winter, some years it´s one meter of snow too. But that´s not such a problem, most parts of the country are used to it, it´s "normal" for us.
