Re the old FX4. I know someone in Liverpool who has a few about that age, in fact he a a couple of 1974 examples with about 250 miles on the clock!

I've seen that FG chip van trundling around Leicester a few times. Seems to be lacking a tax disc in that picture, tho...

Posted

The chip van is epic....love it!Is the green thing a chain-drive Frazer-Nash? never seen one like that before

Posted

The 12 is tax exempt and for sale with spares for £350.

Super spots (as usual)! That 12 is quite a find, pity the cleanest part on it seems to be the front no. plate. :)

3 Fantastic spots there!, WTF is that spoiler on the R12?! and that Allegro is autoshite porn!

Posted

As per, great spots. Do you know of these before you snap them?Id love to see anything like that around here.

No its just keeping your eyes open on your travels. The Allegro caused a quick u-turn as I just had to snap it

Do you know of these before you snap them?

Was going to ask a similar question. :)Any chance of an update on the Wolseley Six Limo as a chap on http://www.wolseleyforum.com/ has bought one and it would be great to get some more info on "yours".

I spot 99% of what I see when travelling now, sadly nothing as interesting as that Allegro springs up round here.

that Allegro is autoshite porn!

I thought it was a Rover 100 for a moment. Got thrown off the scent by those hubcaps.

I was going to mention them! They really do add to the shiteness, shame you didnt spot it towing though.

Great spots..

Nice spots! Allegro is brilliant, do like! £350 for the 12 sounds somewhat optimistic unless theres lots and lots of new spares with it :?

Posted

Great spots.I love the Type 3 fastback, the 12 and the Morris FG. I used to regularly 'visit' 3 similar relics regularly in the late 80's which were parked up at Granny_L's, near a park in Dalkeith and Beecraigs Country Park near Linlithgow respectively.

Posted

Wow, that Lada is brilliant! Excellent work again.

Posted

I seem to remember that Ibiza from a previous appearance on eBay, I thnk its got no rally credentials at all apart from stickers, seat belt pads and those red net things in the windows.

Posted

So there is still a pre-facelift in Ibiza in existence then, not sure about £400 is there any sort of useable car under all that? I`d love another of those, and I wouldn`t be surprised if it was either that one or nothing.

I think you should hold out for an E-reg or older one, there must be one knocking about somewhere, then you'll get the extra-crummy dashboard and a general build quality downgrade over the later ones like that.
