anyone want to save a Ford Capri mk 1 GT?

MIGHT have the chance to save one. not too sure about the condition but think it does actually run.a fella I know was offered it but hates Capris and doesnt want it so the chap who has it is going to banger race it.Ive contacted the fella I know who has passed on my message and I hope its not too late. He's getting back to me as soon as he gets word either way.I would love it myself but I dont have the time and know how to restore it - but it must be saved, it would be a tragedy if it was to end up being smashed up.anyone keen? Im not sure how much he wants for it but I think its less than 500 quid.

Crumbs, you've gotta be pretty hardcore to banger race OLD SKOOL FORDS nowadays, I would have thought it would easily be worth £500 unless it had been run over by a CAT D6K TRACK-TYPE TRACTOR, and even then someone would probably pay most of that for the ID if its tax exempt

yeah looks like it. but he's written underneath that he has lots of other mk 1s and mk 2s to race.I just think its a massive waste of rare cars personally.
