Its in pretty good shape (apart from going though a hedge), the tan leather interior looks in good nick apart from a little wear on the drivers bolste and there are many other useful spares that would be worth saving. The engine starts and runs very well although it looks like the headgasket has started weeping, theres lots of water in the oil- a bit too much to be just damp! Excellent manual gearbox, 4 speed+overdrive.

Everything much go and will be cheap as chips! Collection from Stoke on Trent, ST6 or can post at cost.

Yes I could... do they even have cables on these? Im sure they have a rod arrangement- it was the 240 that used cables.

They do have cable driven wipers, it sounds really shonky to me - Richard's broken two of them on his 940.

The 940 certainly has a cable to drive the passenger wiper, I've broken two in a week. :( I don't know what the 240 linkage looks like but the 940 has the cable on the end of a rod. Even the V90's wipers are cable driven but it's a completely different assembly. The scuttle is held on by three 10mm (head size) bolts- a vertical one at each end and a horizontal one in the middle. The wiper assembly is held on by two 12mm bolts, one behind a rubber bung in the plastic cover. I know you could work that out for yourself but it's nice to know what to expect. If you do get the cable off in one piece let me know and I'll see about sending some funds for it. I'm hoping the 740 and 940 are the same.

I've just had mine in bits again and the second cable wasn't broken after all, the nut had come loose on the spindle. :roll:If you've already gone to the bother of removing it I'll still take it, but you might be better off keeping it for a spare.
