When i was a kid, id really wish that these toy car crushers actually crushed the cars, but they never did, massive letdown. So i just used a hammer, a chair or a pair of pliers. That worked better.

Dads vice did the trick for me

I mostly used a rather big and heavy stone. I rolled it off a small wall at the cars. Oh, I I used a vice too, but I enjoyed the stone-thing most.

"ALL UR P-REG ASTRAS R BELONG TO US"

I wonder how many people will 'get' that reference.

I was always kind to my toy cars with only a couple of paint-jobs on the ones which had little or no paint left on them.My brother on the other hand would find as many ways of destroying his cars as possible not excluding the ol' concrete slab to crush them with, dropping the cars from his bedroom window and last but not least setting fire to them before burying them in the back garden  . Thankfully, he has not done that with his real ones

I misunderstood the title, I thought it was a scheme where you could trade in your annoying teenager and replace it with a cute little baby.

 I thought that too, only I would want a nice transit as opposed to a 'cute' (read expensive and time consuming) baby.....

Some of my toy cars met the hammer/workmate. But as I saw it, I wasn't destroying them, they'd been in a collision. On the ones I didn't want to permanently disfigure, I'd wrap a small bit of tinfoil around the end, so it looked like they were all crumpled.

LOL I used tin foil to make my toy cars into bangers....you could get quite authentic damage during a table top DD. But weapon of choice for total destruction was always the vice. Then they would just get flung into the garden only to be re-discovered when ma was using the Fly-mo....

Xmas 1977 the rich relatives gave this impoverished child a pair of Superkings..Starsky and Hutchs Gran Torino and The Saint XJS Jag...the Gran Torino got trashed but the Jag is the sole survivor of my original toys..estranged Father gave me a big Malboro McLaren F1 car..so Mums boyfriend matched it with the JPS Lotus...once id lost the wheel nuts on them..i converted the Lotus into a speedboat by chopping up my old wellies and stuck the rubber all over it..somehow or other it never floated..

Me and my mate when we was 11-12ish ended up putting all our toy cars on the main road to be flattenedI grew up in a very small, very boring village in the middle of nowhere and found great enjoyment by placing our toy cars into the main road through the village and hiding down the ditch for 20-30 mins until a car would drive over the top of them.18 years later the cars are still embedded into the tarmac, But looking back at it i wish i had just kept them all now.
