Someone on here linked to a useful free car check site, I'm looking at replacement vehicles at the moment, so any pointers would be great!

heres all the ones I have come across or use in my research etc  (I currently recommend Carbaba as it gives the most information out of them all)

go to this website

shove the registration in there, hope the vehicle shows up if it does, right click the page click "view page source" then search the source page (Control F or Cmd F) for "new VRM" or "Previous VRM"

and hopefully you can find the plates its has worn  

 

(note on this particular method if the vehicle is something obscure like an Invacar Mk12 with a fairly basic chassis number, then any other vehicles with that same chassis number on the DVLA computer might bleed through and show up on the plate change list)

I find the Vehicle Smart. App. On my phone very quick and easy to use and gives me as much as I need , mileage MoT history and advises etc.

If I’m spending more than a couple of Grand I always get a paid for check before handing any cash over .
