Splendid work wobbler. Your shite-saving credentials are second to none, this thing did look amazing VALU at £100 but i've got enough on my plate already right now! `i found it mildly depressing that no-one would cough up a oner for it.

let me know asap as have got 21turbo diesel saloon on truck ready for scrap monday  (boring black leather) pics later

Well, to be honest, I'm not a lover of the plush end of a model range, but this still reassuringly has manual mirrors and rear windows, so isn't that plush really. Besides, the colour is just superb.

Very well done. It was depressing seeing this still available every time I logged onto the 'shite.Get it MOT'd and working properly and I'd like to think there'll be more people around here willing to take it on. Such a cool colour.

Well done, great saveGet it sorted out, won,t take to long hopefully, and it will be a good car, great running gear, and lovely colour, monacos are thin on the ground, well saved.

Did any 21's have leccy rears? I thought you needed to head to the leathery end of the R25 range for such indulgence. Renaults never seemed to be set up for leccy rears - take the first edition Scenic for instance. The top spec RXE had leccy rears but kicked Grandjean's theories right out the window by putting the driver operated switches down by his right knee almost under the dash. Looking forward to some more pics of that interior. Well saved Sir.

Fantastic news, I'm glad it's been saved from the scrapyard. Stellar shite saving skills.

Dunno. I don't trust electrickery so like the BX, it's nice to have some manual windows included. Hopefully there'll be time for more pics tomorrow. Weather has been bloody crap since the car got here!

Ha! It DROVE to it's parking space so it can't be bad! It's now even wearing a delicious blue bit of plastic in place of the broken window... (and therefore wears the Gaffer Tape of Win!)

+ the drivers door opens from the outside. Maybe I dropped off the wrong car?I bet you'l have miles of happy garlic flavoured electric leathery fun with that Reno. Id have loved to have kept it, but I have the usual excuses. No space, no money! Im just glad its been distanced from the the scrap mans grab for the time being. Thats what I call an autoshite RESULT!

Whats to tell? 25v6 turbo-bought with the GTA rebuild in mind-but the bloody thing wont run long enough for me to get to the MOT station.Towed it home twice -not nice when its that size & not yet road legal.God its complicated, difficult to work on & so expensive- if I'm forced to resort to 'new stuff'Its now gota towhitch fitted- if Ican get it relaible, and it tows Ok -its got a future. Otherwise, its GTA fodder.....Pics will be taken when I can trust the b@@ger, I dont tend to take them of ''short term scrappers''

It's just that they're VERY rare these days, and come up for sale very infrequently- and sooo many have been used as pasts sources for GTAs and kit cars.

No arguement there, but they're a monumnetal pain in the *** to work on. And the cost of parts-bejessus. Who needs car seats that have 8 different adjustment buttons? And yet they're not even leather....I like rare cars (who'd have guessed) -so I'm trying my best. But a little co-operation from the car-which seems to be doing its damn'est to die...Some cars want to live, some dont. This one doesnt - right now. Hopefully, I can change that. And dont get me started on GTA's! Starter motor doesnt operate. Simple enough. However, even with the wheels off- 3 ft up in the air, I cant even SEE it, let alone touch it. Reckon the manifolds have to come off, so thats the exhaust off, etc etc etc.....Bloody Renaults.

Nigel has contacted me with the list of problems on his 25 Turbo, and being honest they aren,t nice things to repair!!

The starter on a 25 T is a real pig to change and i cursed it lots....

i must admit that i don,t find it to bad to work on,its just a case of having to remove a few other items to get to what you actually want,

as for the rare side of things, thats a big YES,they are still dieing

here seems like another one gone...

This car wasn,t on my survival list so its been added on the death list,Pauls will be added aswell, that does look a bit terminal though, and its all going towards other cars, but as said kit car and GTA owners buy them cheap and get what they want(engine/box/calipers)then scrap the rest,i don,t mind this(Honest!)but i wish the remains would be offered to the very few 25 Turbo owners(of which there are 3 here,Paul, nigel and myself)instead of just crushed, that white 25 is a perfect example of helping other owners, its helped with its windows,me with the heater control and i guess Paul with the engine/box,hopefully it will help with a few more bits,i,am interested in any of its unique Turbo bits, and if it comes to it and Nigels gives up on the 25,i,il buy the same 25 parts from him if he wants to sell them to me?

As i,ve said before, anyone spot a 25 V6 Turbo, please try and get any details(reg, colour etc) as i can add these to my known list of survivors.
