There is a motorhome on ebay, now thinking it over it's most likely a scam... so having a look may now not be required

However could one of you, mail the seller please and ask if its possible to "view" knowing the area you'll have more idea than me.. I assume if there is no option, it is a scam.

I'm in Aberdeen itself but will be going to Glasgow today and will be back tomorrow.

On mobile at the moment so struggling to get proper details from the advert. Is a postcode available? That could narrow down the area and how rough it is.

It is for an auction nowadays. EBay win pull the ad if anyone attempts to buy/sell outside of eBay. 

I'm surprised they haven't pushed all vehicle sales onto classified listings by now.

Just an observation but brick built houses like that are not an Aberdeen thing. Block and roughcast more common.

I too have asked to view, but think it is a scam. The housing stock does not look Aberdonian and the neighbours car (a 1997 P plate Corsa) is Birmingham registered.

Just because no reply doesn't mean it's fraud. No-one's asked for money payment here. There are still 4 days to go.  Maybe the owner's been unexpectedly called away to work at short notice (based in Aberdeen employed in oil  / gas industry?) and can't show the vehicle to anyone till they return home. Pics could be previous pics (from before purchase) recycled.

No-one's actually done anything wrong here.

Lack of communication does seem to fuck up any chance of a sale though. If anyone's willing to throw £6k at a purchase unseen then they know the risks involved. You just wouldn't.

Maybe the owner will be in contact next week.

As said above, housing stock is distinctly non Aberdonian.

 

I sell and fit blinds for a living and have done for several decades so generally could work out which street it would be from the first pic......and I can't!
