You've been busy! I really miss having stuff to spot, i may have to try a few of the nearby towns for my fix.

And thats not even all of it! I have near enough 30 odd pictures ready to go on flickr, but I cant be bothered at the moment. I tend to go places that I dont usually go, but most of it is Basingstoke. Its funny, when I first joined I saw nothing, now its all come out!

Well as Ive seen so much lately, I thought Id share the best here, not too many at the moment but heres the highlights:

This tidy van has appeared near me, what a nice thing. Doesnt seem to be used much.

Excellent little Civic, hadnt seen it before and I havent seen it since. Predictably enough, its an Automatic.

What is it with these things and alloy wheels? NO they look terrible.

Minty cab, these are so common around Basingstoke its ridiculous.

Woaaaah! What a beauty.

I loved this, owner also had a massssssssssssssssive pickup.

I bet this guy gets so many enquries about this, happily none have worked.

And this is that pickup. Simply huge, isnt it downright stupid how its only 190 quid a year roadtax but other smaller newer cars are more!

A familiar car to all those local to me, and its a good tattoo parlour.

Clean ghia alloyed Onion, these are alot rarer than their Escort counterparts.

My route to college goes through 4 car parks, its amazing what shows up. Obviously sometimes I go to other parts of town, Im shocked no ones seen me...yet.

There was an F reg Stellar round my way for a number of years. It was a Stellar 'Olympic'. Special edition If so, I assume it was to coincide with the Seoul olympics of 1988.

Nice 2000 which Ive never seen before, looked a tad crusty.

OAP-riffic 240, see this one alot. Quite well kept, good to see it survived a certain event.

Barry'd Orion, it has the loudest turbo evar.

Tidy Sierra, a 1.6 GL. POWAR.

Local Scimitar, looks really nice. Weather was bloody awful...

Ridiculously minty Aerodeck, which I think lives in that massive OAP area, Old Basing.

Never seen one of these before, what an ace thing. How many did they sell?

A newcomer in Basingstoke, looks to be in fabulous condition.

No idea what this was doing here, it left shortly after I took this.

One of my faves on show, what a beast.

I bet this sounds fantastic.

Brilliant looking thing, and the alloys suited it.

Not so sure about the clear indicator lenses, but other than that it was pretty nice.

Parked up outside was this lovely. Rather typical colour!

In a few months, owning this will be the same as winning the lottery, no doubt. Lovely one though, nice to see a genuine Mexico.

Typically, there was alot of pickups on show, this one stood out for some reason.

Seeing a bizzarely large amount of these at the moment, seems like theyve become more common.

Loads of lovely yank tanks as well, such as this stunner.

A lovely old thing, one of the nicest cars there.

Beast, sounded like youd expect.

Again, I thought this looked nice.

This was brilliant, looked like it would 20 odd years ago.

Not everyones cup of tea, but probably the best kept example in the UK.

Hideous, but in seriously good nick.

The MKV does seem to be a magnet for godawful alloys.

Dont think Ive ever heard of this one before, a bizzare name for an American car.

Plate says 24v, so possibly running a Granada lump.....

Thoughts on this? Looked okay, trailer was in seemingly better condition than the actual towing car.

As spotted by Seth a while ago, looks a bit tatty now.

Mint SRI in the car park, nice to see one devoid of rust for once.

Nice to see a Freight Rover as well, I always liked these more than the early MKIII Transits.

Tatty 309 in Andover, these are rare beasts now.

Absolutely brilliant Acty, never seen this before. What on earth possessed the owner to paint that on the camper body!

Yet moar MKIVs, most of them have ended up round here!

Oh and this last picture, is brilliant. I went down to London the other day, to sort of try out my new camera, and I was simply amazed to see this. Im certain someone must have spotted it before, but by god... Well here it is.

When did you last see a MKI Uno? Super rare now, in front of that shovel nose Carlton from the last update. In a super rough estate near Camden town.

I love these Justys, brilliant little cars. This one had the ECVT paragraph on the door.

Gorgeous 2000 thats been off the road for 24 years. Yep.

I love these early Blueys, such a clean shape. They survive fairly well around here, but definitely getting thinner on the ground.

What a brilliant car. Flat paintwork, lowly trim and a half arsed attempt to create a new blind spot in the windscreen. Ace.

What a survivor, I know its not the oldest one around but its still excellent.

I havent seen an early XM for ages. I think I prefer them.

Im not too sure if I like the square headlamps on the MKIII, but theres no denying that theyre great looking.

One of the most unexpected finds ever. And it didnt turn up at the Basingstoke show, I was well chuffed seeing this! Insanely mint.

Spends most of its time under a cover, currently being brought back into life.

This BX was only on the road for 9 years, someone is keeping it clean though.

Have a send off with style, with a diesel Omega.

Dont see many three door models anymore. In a shabby condition.

Lovely colour, dont really see these anymore. Shame, they are great looking.

OAP owned Safrane, in pretty good shape. He took a long time getting in.

I havent seen a base Sapphire for ages, this one was a suprise. Morrisons is constantly bringing out new shite.

This was also there at the same time as the Sierra, China Blue of course. Local car, good to see it still around.

I know some of you will love this. Absolutely mint SRi, what an excellent car.

It must be Vauxhall season, yet another GTE. Door was practically open, nice one.

Nice enough Granny, with cosworth wheels. I swear half of these are either Black or Blue.

Another one for Fred, tidy MKII LWB at the show was parked in a bush.

This was fantastic, I hope it was an ex RAC unit. Cant be many in this livery.

These MKIII Granadas are getting popular with enthusiasts now, seems to be an awful lot of them in great condition.

Lovely D series was one of many commercials at the show, this one has most probably just been restored due to the DVLA showing signs it hasnt been taxed for over a decade.

How do you stick out in a line of Stags and MGBs? In this honey, thats how.

Gorgeous car, there was one local to me for ages but it vanished when I started taking photos. Damn.

Seems kind of odd seeing a prefacelift model with the Dodge name, front window looked a little suspect...

A chap in Weybridge obviously loves MKVs, he has 3 of them!

I have a feeling this may be a one owner car, judging by the man in it. Its perfect though.

One for the bus lovers, I think period adverts make old Buses look that teeny bit better. There is still a VR doing a school service in Basingstoke.

Rusty Ital van hasnt moved since 95. To be fair, it doesnt look too bad for that amount of time.

This Nova has a fair bit of rust on it, but pretty shocked this one survived scrappage.

I cant ever recall seeing one of these on the road. I bet its a bit cramped on the inside, to say the least.

I dont understand why this one wasnt on display at the show. Beautiful, I didnt actually know these existed until I saw it.

This was opposite the Ital, god knows what the owner will buy when this dies. Still, its lasted 5 years longer than the Ital did so far.

I remember that Marina RAC van from last year - it is a real RAC one, and apparently the only surviving one from their fleet.I was most impressed by the absolutely gorgeous Renault 16 on display at the show - and there was another one in the car park too.....that's probably about 50% of all the surviving 16s in the UK!

The 2000 is owned by the same people who own the mint 740 saloon, oddly thats on SORN, yet is clearly on the road! Perhaps they cant drive and just polish the life out of both of them.
