Thats a nice looking thing.  What's it like?

Big. And that’s from a v70 owner. Turning circle is better though. Its quiet. I was bothered by a very slight scratchy noise from the interior fan on low setting, at 60mph.

Oof. It looks relatively rust free as well. Lovely.

It’s a bit lived in but pretty good. It’s had a load of rust work in 2012, and is alleged to be a low rust version. I’ll let you know when I ve had it up on toms ramp. Steering needs centering and there’s a rattle or 2 from the front, gearbox is a bit dim witted off the line (nervous tic) so will get a fluid change, but it seems good so far. Sits at 90 happily, stops straight, comfy.

The only time I’ve seen the owner he was taking rubbish out of the bin and poking it down the street drain in the gutter.

True story.

It'll be a 3-litre on an S plate - pre-CDI.  Good engines.  I had one identical to that (except with a bit more rust), lovely thing to drive.

The turning circle of the QE2 is better than a V70.

Great purchase. The only real reason I never considered these over a V70 was the rust thing, so it will be interesting to see the amount of rot underneath. It really does look like a battle ship doesn't it!

I believe that it’s a legendary OM606 engine. 3 litre straight 6.

Basis of the very well documented superturbodiesel upgrade. (Pop that in YouTube to see what can be done)

But, for now, it’s the wife’s, mainly as I am currently busy trying to fit a holset hx35 to my v70. If I manage that..........
