Crispian_J_Hotson Posted February 11, 2019 Posted February 11, 2019 Cheers. Its going to get some attention that's for sure. Starting with searching for signs of rot, and making sure it stays away, getting the lamps sorted with a conversion kit I have, the mystery coolant loss issue, checking out the other bits. Fresh service and 'the list'! Mrs6C and egg 2
Crispian_J_Hotson Posted February 11, 2019 Posted February 11, 2019 well bought sir.Looks as though you are sorted insurance wise, but you could always try Peter S Taylor for classic insurance. The car needs to be over £1500 for Insurance purposes though. Yeah, these are worthless in insurance terms. £350 auction sales list price! I had a look at some specialists but the s type was not fitting of their criteria. Besides, I don't want a mileage limit on it.
alf892 Posted February 11, 2019 Posted February 11, 2019 Lovely cars.......I just sold mine last week after 2 years and nearly 30,000 miles. Jag rads seem to like to bulge at the bottom with time.....mine was like it (replaced 6 days before selling!) and the x350 that replaced it is the same.
flat4alfa Posted February 11, 2019 Posted February 11, 2019 Why didn't I logon yesterday, only just seen this, and local too

wuvvum Posted February 11, 2019 Posted February 11, 2019 There wasn't a lot of rot on this at all when I had it, surprisingly for one of these. Mrs6C 1
