I imagine they must be. My 300D W123 was horrifically easy on the acceleration and that had a whopping 88bhp!

Apparantly so, but you'd never buy one to be a sports car. Even the 2.0 petrols weren't exactly quick off the mark! I expect it'll be a fairly solid old thing though, 190s do have a certain sort of 'product of the eighties which felt dated in the nineties' charm about them. Bits are easy to come by and that should be veg oil friendly too.
