Re the green Golf.

this car was owned by my uncle, he had an accident in it and as a result of the damage the car was written off due to the age which is always the case in a car of this age. how ever my uncle refused to let it go to the breakers yard to be striped which would have been such a waste , so put it in his garage and gave up driving due to age . the car was given a cat c write off stamp which means it needs a vic check which takes 5 mins to confirm its the same car and that you have made an attempt to repair it . this cost around Ã‚Â£50 and gives you a cert to give to insurance companies to legally put it back on the road this will also need to be done before it can have an mot

Yep, much as I find the hatchback version to be one of the dullest cars ever, the boot improves the looks a lot. I very nearly bought a 418 as my first Uk car some years back actually as I couldn't believe how cheap they were. Looks like that's not changed...

Anyone knows what these v6 auto ones are like on juice ? its not a very big car...
