Looking at that (and other Google images) the CJ doesn't have a left hand silencer so I bow down to your better knowledge. Anyway if it's a G5 they were shit too!

Re the green Golf.

this car was owned by my uncle, he had an accident in it and as a result of the damage the car was written off due to the age which is always the case in a car of this age. how ever my uncle refused to let it go to the breakers yard to be striped which would have been such a waste , so put it in his garage and gave up driving due to age . the car was given a cat c write off stamp which means it needs a vic check which takes 5 mins to confirm its the same car and that you have made an attempt to repair it . this cost around £50 and gives you a cert to give to insurance companies to legally put it back on the road this will also need to be done before it can have an mot

Seems to have been off the road since 2008.

Someone needs to mail the melon selling that Escort and offer him £150 for the car and he can keep the '£1400' registration number. It's not worth a carrot, no matter what some cockwand from Reg. Transfers (or whoever) has told him.

That Maroon Jetta GL is EXACTLY* the spit of the one my dad had from new til the mid 90s and I spent many a day sat in the back off being bored aff my tits listening to a walkman and sulking.

*if it had proper wheels and suspension and a standard steering wheel.

One day...

Mrs_Bol's just been right near there, should have given her the A-frame so she could bring it back for me.

£500 BIN for this Rover 45 V6, I'd like one of these and this is about the cheapest i've seen advertised yet, though i suspect that when these do change hands pretty small sums of money are involved. I'd convert mine to a manual box too, supposedly the steptronic effort is laughable in this application.

I had no idea the 45 came with a V6. Onto the wanted list it goes, definitely future shite!

That 45 does look good. I though the v6 only came in the MGZS Flava.

Yep, much as I find the hatchback version to be one of the dullest cars ever, the boot improves the looks a lot. I very nearly bought a 418 as my first Uk car some years back actually as I couldn't believe how cheap they were. Looks like that's not changed...

Anyone knows what these v6 auto ones are like on juice ? its not a very big car...

'the reg 823eoy subject to negoiation'

Oh aye, good luck with that one. The car's been off the road 15 freaking years, it needs about eleven grands worth of welding etc and you're going to try and hold the buyer to ransom over a £400 cover plate?

Posted

Buy it and simply fail to get round to MOT'ing it until the PO dies of old age. Sorted!

If this doesn't go within 48 hours at the absolute most I'll show my arse in Burton's window.

Tidy-ish, genuine seven seater with (seemingly) a year's test and a months tax for £500? Bloody big bargain.
