I always thought that was a much more modern shape than its time, far nicer than the contemporary Escort and the Maestro.

How much is that in real money?

A shade over 7000 quid

You like old Jags? Want one?

Looks like a trader as well with that Maser, going by the Porker in the background with the boot open & posed

The original owner of this vehicle was Harold Hellbaum

Harold Hellbaum was elected to the Wyoming Legislature from 1963 ? 1976

Mr. Hellbaum was very respected

Nah, he was a fucking politician, m8.

The car was original down to the tires.

So what did you do to irreversibly fuck it up?

When we got the car it was a choice of upgrading the already smogged emission controlled 460v8 or put something in to modernise it which will be smoother more powerful and plenty of torq so we went with the decision to use 1992 Mercedes m120 48 VALVE engine

the engine used in this has 68.000 miles warranted.

A one owner car before me ,this car was owned by the speaker of the house in US, only 27000 miles (documented).

So you ruined a 27k mile creampuff with a 70k lump from the scrappy?

I disfuckingpair.

Classified ad price: £28,500.00

Just grow a pair of gills. What an ocean going pillock.

To my eye these don't look as if they're any smaller than the Mk1 Golf, is that so?

They are not smaller than a golf. I had one as my first road car because I couldn't afford a golf and bloody loved it. If I had that sort of money laying around today I would consider getting that bought although the colour, seats and wheels are awful.
