That (Mercedes / Pobeda ?) mash-up looks to be beautifully done. There are some clever folk in the car world.

Mr Binary posts some delightful cars, I'd like to have some, most or all of them. It's a good job that I am too poor and cowardly to do anything about it.

Anyone else having problems seeing listings that have already ended? If I click on a link to a now expired listing, it just jumps to a similar (current) one and says 'advert no longer available' or something like that.

Click on the word 'listing' in the blue band across the top of the replacement ad and it takes you fo the original one. Not exactly an improvement.

Anyone want to save this Polo GT? A bit rusty around the arches but the ends of the sills looked pretty solid for one of these. £350 in Carlisle.

Have noticed recently these and pretty much any Peugeot 205 3 door are rapidly increasing in value now.

This appears to have been 'restored' using cardboard and 75,000 litres of paint.

'The mileage was high at just over 245k'

Has it been serviced though?

'although it did have a full service history as it was leased to the NHS.'

Thank fuck for that. Did it bother you, M8?

'Because of this the mileage did not faze me at all'

Good motors them Japanese things, bro.

'As soon as I got it back to the work shop it had a full service. all fluids, belts etc. When the rear diff was drained (they do suffer from the rear diff failing if not looked after) the diff oil was still gold in colour! Everything on this motor works as it should, and it had been well maintained.'

Good thinking, it'll last forever now, well invested, blood.

'Sadly the original engines timing chain snapped and I have replaced it with the 2.2 icdti civic engine

Sucks 2 b u M8

There's then a 9,000,000 worded catalogue of the 99p shop stick on Chinese shit he's ordered for it to justify the £3,500 asking price for his £595 council estate horror.

I wonder if that bloke with the fish and chip box has secretly filled it with Columbian marching powder and that woman's trying to take enough of it to make this car seem like a good idea?

'This is a one off 2004 54 Porsche boxster 3.2S'

But is it customre built?

s-l1600.jpg

'it looks and drives like a £50k plus super car'

Actually, it looks like a £3,500 bottom of the range Porsche painted with £600's worth of Boots 'bargain bin' fucking nail varnish.
