I've always wanted one of these ROADMASTERS

 

It's that pipe dream of mine.  That one where I'm flying into LAX with lady friend, buying one of these off Craigs, fit mattress (king size, obv.), drive Route 66 etc and sell it after a fortnight at JFK car park.

 

Except I'm married with sprog now

 

And she hates camping ideas of any sort.

1600 quid. Bonnet required minor re-alignment.

 

 

 

This will be an easy project for the right person as it requires some recommissioning work due to being off the road for 4 years. It starts, drives and stops but will need collection by trailer or flatbed truck. I think the bonnet hinge seized then some hamfisted idiot damaged it trying to close it so will need a replacement. I was going to do the work and use it this summer but I have come to realise I will not have the time in the next few months. As with all older Mercedes these are creeping up in value and could be a good investment. Only one previous owner, two sets of keys and service history pack.
