You've been outbid by someone else's maximum bid.

There's still time for you to win. Try bidding again.

I want this an awful lot.

I was hoping that £3000 was a ridiculous asking price for something like this.  I like EVERYTHING about it; how the sparsity flatters the sharp and classic design - the colour palette, the clean MOT, this is the bees knees.

Sadly, pricing a car is a science and not an art - and if you look at recently sold MK1s on ebay, it's about right.

I like this so much, in fact, that if they had a reasonable finance offering I'd probably say 'fuck it' and have it.  Paying £200 a month for this rather than a new one somehow seems eminently more sensible.

I nearly bought that two years ago!  It's a cracker - and the old V5 with it in her name at their address in the south west should be with the history too.

However, it was £1200 a couple of years ago.  It just proves what a decent advert can do...

It has the Honda engine as well being an auto,

I bought one myself for a wbod for £250 and it runs like a Swiss watch I never have to top it up oil and coolant etc it’s just so reliable and the only problem I’ve had was a brake issue with a rear caliper which escalated to quite an expensive bill at the garage.

The only criticism I have is the suspension is a bit soft so it’s not exactly planted around sharp bends but it makes up for it when you drive over a massive pothole.

Also if you buy it be careful not to pull the door handle off on a frosty morning I normally warm the kettle up and pour it over the door seal and handle on a cold morning before setting off for work.

The sad 1980s kit car geek in me.. knows what chassis that is... it's for a Jba Javelin.

Which when fully clothed in its Grp becomes a knock off Capri convertible.

£1150 for a V8 Jag that won't ever need welding. Good colour too.

Is there any chance at all of finding one without this grim leather? I bet these are a really good drive but what a shit place to sit.

Same colour as my S Type... Same Interior. Minus the V8 though.
