I like these, this one is £995 but needs a new seat ideally. SMART.

They should lock this guy up and throw away the key.

It's the car I feel sorry for.

Can't believe Andy's selling the S1 Beta! I couldn't bear to part with it if I had it. Lovely car and I'd love it. GLWTS etc etc, if it was cheaper/nearer/I had less cars blah :D

dunno about that ^^^ :? when they work they are rather nice. I would have thought a £1k p38 is going to be a money pit though.

Ad has been removed so might have been a scam

Dizzles are economical unless driven with any enthusiasm and then you will wonder why you didn't buy a v8 and lpg the arse off it.

The V8's are known for issues such as chewing through cams in as little as 80k miles. Cylinder liners shift and render the block as scrap. plenty of engines and options about to fix that though.

Autoboxes might have an alergy to anything north of 120k miles

Hevac, and other electrics are pointlessly complicated and can be hideosly expensive to fix.

Air suspension can cause problems and rather than fixing it, the whole setup is binned in favour of springs. shame really as air is the cats arse.

Hang on I think you are right, i'll hang onto the Classic with its "fix me with a hammer" mentality

These little things haven't been scened to death yet then.

the seller has patience

I listed once already and the winning bidder telephoned me the evening the auction closed and

said he would have to wait 2 weeks as his sister in America had just had a baby and he had to go and visit her. He promised me he really

wanted it, so I waited, and waited. He was a time waster!

Just re-jig the illuminated signs, so the one on the roof says "NO" and the for hire sign says "FUCK OFF"

This is for sale in a garage very near me. It's near the train station and I eye balled it about 2 months ago then never saw it again. This week it appeared in the local rag.

It looks mega. Wood you SWOP 4 PUMA M8?

Doesn't look outrageous at £2500

2 owners from new, last owner since 17/01/1978

He got a message. I won't tell you who from.

Will,

Thanks for your response.

If it was taxed and MOT'd I'd be using it!

I have 3 other Peugeots so this one is being stored.

It will require a certain amount of refurbishment, brake overhaul and brake line replacement so I am not looking for a fortune.

It would be criminal to scrap or break up for spares as it is in far to good a condition.

The interior alone would be hard to match.

So given the extraordinary response in such a short space of time I guess it's down to the best bid.
