Might have been Furber's, as they often had that sort of thing in stock.

When they had their clearance sale I spied a brand new Renault 19 shell atop a container...

This thread seems to have become less active recently, possibly due to all the flouncing, so I suppose I'd better get off my arse and do something about it.

 

Here is an LC10, which is probably best known for not being quite as horrible as an Escort of the same vintage.  It's currently £400 and not far (enough) from me.
