My old "W201" has come up for sale.  The guy, true to his word, did give me first refusal on it last month.  Jeez, I loved that old lady - despite it properly put me through it all though.  I just kept on coming back for more.

 

It looks to have lost the aerial which is a shame - from memory it worked perfectly before, so it's probably just another victim of London's long and well documented street crime issue.  I can confirm that it is a good one, and he'll do a bit of a deal.  Thing is, with 4 months MOT and known crustiness underneath I'd struggle to part with over £2k.

Love the delusion '....all classic cars will only go up in value.' and the 'valuation' of a Mk1 being refurbished with Mk3 parts.

 

Lovely thing though but needs to go to someone who will respect it for what it is.
