The only reason why I am not bidding like a fuckhah on that Beta is -

(1)  that I am skinty oot and it is tax bill time;

(2)  that I have already owned every flavour of Beta except a Berlina and one with a 1600 engine, and this one is a 2000.

OK, that's two reasons, but I didn't expect the Spanish Inquisition.

When i were a yoof my mates step dad had one and he took us out in it and scared the bejesus out of me. Man that thing was fast.

This red one doesn't have the crazy Swiss cheese dash.

I'm out.

Was that yours previously?

Nope, although same colour and year. Mine (A20 VLX)  is now with a bloke near Swindon who is rebuilding it.

This is lovely - a very early mk2 Polo in metallic brown which, as we have all agreed elsewhere, is the colour for winners.

Bonus brown and beige interior too.  Would.

I want a metallic brown car now.

Not that one, though (as nice as it is, tiny little superminis aren't my cup of tea).

Agreed.  So does the pastel polyester leisurewear.  [/snob]

I agree.  It is, despite OMG brown-ness, a small,tinny and slow thing.
