Aye, that one isn't a banana, it's the boggo old 70ps DI like what was in my one.  The banana version gets an extra 5 Eurohorses - not that I've ever noticed any discernible difference between the two.

I think the 'banana' reference is just used to make you think it's worth 11 times more, or something. As has been discussed before, it seems to be more about the diffs or what model of Transit that makes the difference. Some are great at accelerating but run out of steam at about 60mph, others just keep on pulling and will happily do 85-90 and actually want another gear.

You baaaastard, I have too many cars and am losing my two council garages - no where to park - hate luxobarge  seasick inducing American metal - LHD round the tiny mean streets of outer London is a pain - impossible to get bits for - easy to steal - easy target for the local pond life - hate the diesel automatic for extra slowness - and it's in the devil's county of Essex but someone has just loaned me a couple of k of euros so I've sent the owner a message.   Why does the speedo go all the way to 12? s-l1600.jpg

ENGINE STARTS, UNSURE IF DRIVES AS SOME SUSPENSION DAMAGE TO DRIVERS SIDE

 

AIR BAGS BEEN DEPLOYED

 

ON FIRST INSPECTION LOOKS TO BE MOSTLY PANEL DAMAGE

So it's not just panel damage then, but it also needs suspension work and the airbags replaced. Replacing airbags ain't cheap!

So why's the ground all wet then. And it's parked next to not one but TWO puddles. Admittedly it's not actually IN the puddles but it's a bit too close for my liking and I won't be bidding.

 

Tidy Bluebird mind. For maybe only 2 bags though.

... and couldn't be arsed to step back a couple of paces so you could actually see the whole car.   Maybe because that would have put him ankle deep in used needles.  Classy effort all round.
