So, yeah, I'm currently highest bidder on this...

GENUINE MNI COOPER S MK2

Currently at £4100 - and I reckon I'll win it for not much over £5K.

Flamin' bargain! I'm so excited!!

All being well, I'll be picking it up tomorrow - you can come round and have a sit in it if you like.

You might want to bring an anorak if the weather hasn't improved by then.

This old Mazda is giving me the horn, check out that interior!! Windscreen aside it looks really straight.

I'm sure obtaining a new windscreen for a 30 year old jap mobile that was relatively rare even then would be no problem...

Even so I am sorely tempted to have a go

That's fantastic - the stereo looks tasty and three positions for the individual air vent controls! Plus what looks like seat belt style restraining straps to stop the body in the roll of carpet in the boot rolling about.

Phase 1 1600 in as pov a spec these can possibly be.

Even has keep fit rear windows, so something else will break instead.

Not even close to poverty spec.

The GE model had a Lion sticker where the rev counter should be and grey plastic where the clock should be.

Scratchy seats, see through carpets and no wheel trims.

The later STYLE base model was slightly less austere.

Soon to be seen 4mm off the ground with cambered alloys and JDM stickers no doubt...

Page 4 of the "show me your shite thread".

It's got the t-shirt ;-)

Don't you change a fucking thing.

Okay, mounting of an old seat is permitted.

Can I fit a radiator as well? I think it might overheat otherwise. As it's LHD I might even be able to get in and out of it, especially as it has that handy rollover bar for mounting a winch.

This Alfa 156 was looking like a nice bit of shite with which to pop my Alfa cherry...until I saw the rear seat belts

You've not had kids have you?

They could do that to a brand new car on the ride home from the showroom.

Admittedly I'd have had a go at them with the vax before taking any pictures.

The belts that is. The vax plays havoc with the kids hair.
