That V6 Corsa, I looked through the listing and hoped to find the inevitable, and bingo:

"Update V5 to 3.0 litre (STILL REGISTERED AS 1.2!)"

Really boils my piss, that.

Where would one get those tyres?

metric ones for the metro?

second hand maybe (we've still got a load of part used ones in the garage), if it was mince i'd treat it too some mark 1 metro 12 inch steels with the little black centre hubcaps.

don't believe me? check out this floor pan!

It's been decades since I've been under a Metro but I can't work out what I'm looking at there. Either the gear change is just in front of the back seat or it has been converted to 4WD with the skinniest propshaft ever,

Good heavens that Fidia is something else. Its the kind of car that would be worth leaving your job/home/family for and living alone in a caravan in the corner of a farm shed, with it parked next to the caravan so you could just look at it at any time.

One of those cars which would I could really go for if it wasn't a floppy-top.

Wearing it's hard-top it looks like a real contender as a Gamma Coupe replacement.

The internet tells me this '89 example is from the Allante sweet-spot: the pushrod engine problems had been fixed and Northstar engine complexities hadn't happened yet.

I do seem to darkly recall that 12 inchers have a clearance problem on these, no?
