Park Avenue. Park Lane is a Mercury.

Above Le Sabre has the advantage of having the interior covered with agreeable material.

I'm so glad that Buick is so far over budget, because it's only in Widnes, where Hyacinth came from....

I'm watching that Buick.  I suspect it's one that got away just before I bought the Sable, I know I was looking at one in that colour.

Last year there was a grey one for sale which I seriously considered trading the Rover for, but what really put me off was the seller's claim that he was only selling it to pay for a headstone for his recently deceased brother. I don't want to take someone's car off them under those circumstances!

Thus the model will always be the Grief Buick in my mind.

I like the way this mobile dysentery unit has it's own rectal prolapse ward c/w bog brushes on the top floor

This isn't far from me, its a 2.2 and been off the road for 2 years but looks nice and supposedly has a great engine. He's had a single bid from a zero-rater of £200. I am thinking of making him an offer, my experience of these is theyre really well made and a great steer, i've only ever driven a 1.6 16v or a 2.0 DTi, I imagine a 2.2 must be pretty swift. Any views?

This Toyota bB 'Open Deck'...

$_12.JPG

It's an odd car made even odder/funkier thanks to loping the rear off it to become a pick-up. This one with a few mod's which im guessing were done by the last owner in Japan. Just screaming for someone in the 'scene' to buy because it's different.

Yours for 5 quid shy of £5,500...

I know it's hard to tell from the listings, but putting a car on Gumtree isn't actually scrapping it.

Good news for the blonde bird (who looks quite like Mrs_C's fit mate) I would definitely let her spend an hour on my tower of power.

and will that stupid chin spoiler thing come off?

Probably, with an angle grinder or hacksaw blade or something if you're careful. It looks slightly off-colour anyhow, might be better buy a second hand one same colour and flogging that one on. Side skirts possibly Irmscher and look like they want sacking off.

No mention of why the EML is on in the pictures either, the car must be running as the rev counter is on tick-over, looks like traction control and ABS lights also lit up?

Do it, they're great cars, the 2.2 must be seriously rapid if a bit nose-heavy I'm guessing.  The spoiler might be a bolt-on, the bumper looks standard.
