PLUS IT COMES WITH RS 2000 V5 AND PLATES LOG BOOK IN MY NAME

VERY NICE PLATE VALUED AT £800

Oh, thats okay then, a 'valuable' number plate for a different car.

Go blow a goat dickhead. How do you press report? Maybe I should ask him what the valuable plate is and circulate it on Ford Forums to see if it suddenly turns up on a mint one that is very similar to one that went missing in the last year.

I wouldn't waste your time H. Imp, there seems to be a pretty colossal industry based around nicking and/or ringing of these old Fords, one of those things where so many folk are openly doing it, it sort of becomes legal almost, 'its just the way things are'.

This looks pretty ropey but they are popular little beasties. Wonder what his reserve is?

my plan was to convert it to by putting a mazda mx5 1.8 engine but time and funds mean i cant continue

Oh well, no matter someone can just use it as is.

there is no engine or gearbox ,as i sold this to fund the project

What did you spend the money from the engine on?

Unfortunately I spent all the money I got from the engine on a pokey bum wank from a Swedish Escort with a bad case of the clap
*

Verdict: Fuckwit.

*I might have used some artistic licence there.

Its crackers. Saying that, buying this would almost be a good idea if you had a mate with a mint one. Insure the V5, take some photos of the plates on your mates car and claim mega bucks from the insurance company when it is 'stolen'. How much would you get for one of these?

Where did all these Astras go?

Get busy with the waxoyl and this would probably last for decades, costing 15p a year to get through the MoT

You mean the one that was sold to Sweden shortly afterwards? You know, the one that still has 'orange 1600' written in the Swedish registration doc.

This ORSUM Rangie hits most of the autoshite points. Brown, almost derelict, questionable engine conversion. It says the car has a 2.5 litre Peugeot turbo diesel conversion. Is that the LDV engine?

Automatic shite!

Why is it that the Asians always get the shaft end of the deal when they entrust car styling to a respectable European design company?

ISTR reading (at the time these were launched) that these were a rejected design proposal for the mark 3 Cav.

I had a Range Rover with the 2.5 TD Indenor engine as used in the LDV 400, and a 4-speed manual 'box. It was not a rapid vehicle.

Yeah, you prolly should have swapped it for a Rover V8.

Been battling to decide if this should be in Tat or Bargains.

I'm thinking Tat, as the photos seem to resemble the term and at £18.5k with £14.1k spent at Oselli; for a Lagonda, it doesn't seem to warrant 'Bargain' status.

Love the way it looks as if it's currently being used as farm machinery and transporting bovine or swine....
