now that is a good colour for a rover 75, and an interior to match..... yum!!

 

poxy bloody yellow..... yuk!!

 

]that car above is just lush, and i bet that it isn't  a common colour as well.

Never twigged that these used the ribbon speedo right to the very end.

The lowest spec ones kept the strip speedo to the very end. They also had that control panel you can see, consisting of a messy mixture of early and late switchgear. Non illuminated, of course.

It was a safety measure I think. If the speedo didn't continue all the way to the very end then at higher speeds the ribbon would just fall out the hole where it finished, drop to the floor and get tangled round the pedals.

OOhhhh dear christ I want this in my life.

Why do I not have funds! I want to be doing my home visits in this with a couple of spaniels in the back.
