what do vintage truckists think of one of these?

that cab looks tiny, but so much glass! no excuse for not been able to see where your going!

as a nipper i remember seeing a sunblest bread van one of these running about....

I like them as a nostalgic thing, but I wouldn't want to work one. Very slow, very noisy (engine in the cab with you) freezing cold in winter, boiling hot in summer. Typical 60s commercial really!

I once ended up with a Thruppennybit tipper in a part ex deal for a 2.8 Capri, it was hilariously old fashioned even in 1992. It wouldn't do more than 50 and those doors are pretty narrow, I probably wouldn't get in one these days . I sold mine to some Pikey landscapers who probably used it for low speed fly tipping.

How does anybody above 9st fit in this cab?

Only 50 miles through one of the most scenic areas in Britain away and it is appropriately gearboxed.

Not fair...

Daily Mail quote -  'exact replica' - tells you all you need to know about the Daily Mail.

I admire the builders tenacity, as I've no practical skills,  but it's a pretty appalling machine, similar to a piss poor kit car build; why not just spend the large amount of money involved on something interesting to restore or to drive away?

Best thing about that 'Zonda' is that it's not even road legal. Nice one, chap

Wow, quite a lot but if you can finish it, I suppose with blue oval tax it could be worth a fair bit someday as these Lotus Cortinas are fetching a fair bit now.

FFS.

I bought one of these in 1978 for £250 quid, had been tinkered about with but was just an old interesting car back then.

Swapped it for a tatty Renault 5 GTL, which I rather liked much more.

Hindsight tax, eh?

i'd love one of these, odd, french and 3 seats plus its not that far from home!!

but, BUT, this one is well crusty around the back, and the bit on the ad about the body been glued/rivited onto the chassis unit sounds unimaginably terminal for it...

I see it's been attended to by a specialist. If they're anything like some of the 'specialists' I've had to deal with, then it's F****d.

Is 'Dimma' an older word for ' fuckwit ' ?

This really is absolutely appalling crap.

It is/was a company that made wide body kits for 106's amongst other things. There was an official Dimma demo car in my area until recently and to be fair while the modifications aren't really up to date with what the scene is doing now (the car was modified some 10 years ago!) it was executed very well. I am partial to a wide body versions of cars...

I like Dimma stuff. And Zender.

In fact I have a soft spot for a lot of mid 90s citrus-coloured wide arch hatchbacks, like everything in Max Power before it went all tits and ladsmag, and then bust.
