Nice gate hinges etc.... But the seller has crammed as many VW references as possible into the subtitle, therefore justifying* the £1500 asking price. I say get to fuck

...edit... it's actually £1750! Lolz etc

That Audi looks like it's on the farm where my TL1000 lives, along with Father_155's Alfa 33 Sportwagon & Beta Spyder.

Citroen XMs seem to be the bedrock of Autoshite so I'd be amazed if this isn't a repost;

Normally seen in turgid dark metallics, they look spanky in crisp white don't you think?

These were the company car of choice at my work back in the day; a massive exec car for the same "cost" as a dreary small Ford. My boss had one, and he was such a short are he couldn't use the floor mounted handbrake - rolled into the building more than once.

Its odd but my favourite thing about old Volvos is the headrests, I mean they are well cool.

The rest of this is nice too mind you.

Those headrests:

Just a pleasing design. They could have had a normal headrest but they have tried harder which reflects the effort put into the rest of the car.

These seem to be creeping up in price?

However I have never noticed that the line at the top of the rear door is not straight before.

Oh god! They are all like it. FOR GODS SAKE WHY!

The rear doors on 240's has annoyed me for years.

It's like that stupid banana sill you get on discoveries. Look at the bottom of the front wing it's like it's just not been fitted right.

I think Volvo' excuse is using saloon doors, Land Rover's is having to create a complete new car based on the 20 year old chassis and sub structure of an existing ,more expensive one. Using only a pipe bending machine, some tin snips and random bits of Sherpa and Maestro.

I saw this, looks like a special model, mabye a very late one before it was replaced with the Rio. It has Rio alloys and full leather, normally the Shuma 2 only had half leather.

That's what I thought but how much harder would it be to make the doors fit. Well obviously too much.

No word of a lie, it has actually put me off buying one as it would forever bug me now I have seen it. Not sure how I have never noticed before.

From the Questions section of the ad -

Q:  Dont Sell !! I regretted it .Took me another 10 years to find one up here in bonnie Scotland .

Does this mean the Scotland/Volvo thing is really just a myth, like VAG dependability or cheese from goats?
